About the event
When we experience a traumatic event it takes a severe toll on all levels of our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness. While we can't have one level of wellness without the others, it is essential for us to come back within ourselves and learn more deeply how to connect with the love that is within our hearts to seek balance and harmony within our overall wellness. When we allow ourselves to observe ourselves from a place of love instead of fear, anger or sadness, we are able to release the many layers that which our traumas have created. The love in our hearts is so much more powerful than many realize. We have the ability to access true, holistic healing through shifting our perception of ourselves from a survivalist mentality of fight-or-flight, to pure self-nurture, creativity, optimism and self-love.
During this workshop we will explore where within us we do not fully accept that we are worthy of experiencing love, how the traumas have created the barrier between us and the love within us and more. Co-creative and meditative techniques will be facilitated, with oppportunities to discuss and share personal experiences that came about during the workshop.
The intention for this workshop is that anyone who attends has new mindfulness tools for self-healing through self-love and self-nurture to bring home and incorporate into your lives to reclaim your inner peace by beginning the healing process from any form of trauma encountered in life.
You are worthy of feeling safe in your body. You are worthy of feeling the love that is within your hearts. You are worthy of releasing the layers that were imposed on us through traumatic experiences of all kinds. Self-inflicted or not, you are worthy of love, simply because you ARE love.
Exchange for event attendance is $20.00. No prior music knowledge necessary to attend.
